Nightline, or ABC News Nightline is a late-night news program broadcast by ABC in the United States, and has a franchised formula to other networks and stations elsewhere in the world. It airs weeknights, usually for 31 minutes. Created by Roone Arledge,[2] the program featured Ted Koppel as its main anchor from March 1980 until his retirement from the program in November 2005. As of February 25, 2011, the Executive Producer is Jeanmarie Condon.[3] The program airs weeknights on local ABC stations at 11:35pm ET or later.

In 2002, Nightline was ranked #23 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.[4
